Space Hulk Coop - 1.41 Compatable!

The sad news is this website and Space Hulk for dawn of war is over. But the good news is their is now Space Hulk 2 - YEPPY! The Space Hulk 2 web site is www.spacehulk2.i8.com , go over and check it out. At the same time we have released the most up to date and finished Space Hulk Mod for Dawn of War and Winter Assault.

Space Hulk Coop - 1.41 Compatable!

A new version of Space Hulk Has been released! This new version will only work if you have Dawn of War and the Expansion Winter Assault. Some new features is a new win condition, maps and the introduction of the Necron Killteam. Killteams are power vetrans that against all odds complete the mission at hand. This new concept is part of the ever growing 40K Universe that is Space Hulk.

1st Edition Space Hulk.

The Dawn of War 1.3 conversion is almost complete, so here is an update of the new and changed features of this new release. Due to coding deferent’s in 1.3, the Descent to Purgatorum campaign is back to square one and will not be ready for release. The good news is that their will be a 6 mission campaign based on the first edition Table Top Game - Space Hulk. The maps from the original box set has been recreated in the Space Hulk Mod. The Descent to Purgatorum campaign will be out as an expansion in the following weeks from the release of 1st Edition.

A new feature is a Cooperative version of Space Hulk. This version, while designed to work best as coop can be played as multi-player Marines vs. Chaos Marines (you could easily paint you terminators in the foul colour of chaos). Unfortunately, because of certain restrictions in multi-player it is not possible to have all the fantastic little tweaks that are in Single Player.

Here is a list of things different from the SP Version:

1) No weapon jams
2) No Forward view only - so the termi's can't see behind them
3) No enemy Blips
4) No Focus View, that's when the camera follows the termi
5) You can play as Terminators, horrors or genstealer (once they are released)
6) You can have AI Termi's as back-up
7) You can play on normal maps as well
8) Save Mission work in skirmish
9) Replay's work in skirmish and multi-player

Don't Panic, we are still here!

I realize it has been a while since our last entry, and I apologize. But the good news is we are back and better than ever! Space hulk is working fully in 1.3 and we expect a release very soon. Sadly, we have lost our very talented 3D modeler MonoRAIL. He has moved on to other projects and we wish him all the best. The good news is a new very talented 3d modeler Ranzarok has joined the ranks and has begun work on improving the overall look and feel of Space Hulk. Here is a sneak peak at some of his work.

New Patch V0.6.7 Released

This is a huge patch! The team has worked relentlessly to fix all the problems pointed out by the General Public. As well as adding a few very cool surprises. There are many fixes but here are the main ones:

-Storm Bolter Firepower increased
-Auto-Canon Firepower increased
-Camera distance increased
-Xeno Spawn points changed
-Cpt Burnatis has Incendiary grenade launcher
-2 new 1st edition skirmish maps
-2 new Hulk skirmish Missions
-pit view radius reduced
-New door texture's
-Termi doesn't get stuck in flame animation if killed
-Servitor now gets attacked by horrors in Mission 2,3 & 4
-Tactical view time increases when not in use
-Terminator response time increased
-Code supports 2 squads
-some other general map fix's

Genestealer Render

New Door Skins !

Sorry I haven't posted any news lately. But we have been had at work for the 6.7 patch for the demo. But the good news is the final textures for one of the doors has been finished thanks to monoRail. Animations are still in the works but they look'n great!

New Demo Released !

Space Hulk : Descent to Purgatorum Demo - is a totally revamped version of Scarcow's original mod. The demo includes the first 4 mission from the 12 mission campaign and 2 maps in skirmish - 1 of which is the 1st edition table top map.

The Full version will see more skirmish maps included and of these the six 1st edition maps from the original Board Game! You can download the new demo from our Downloads section or here - Please give the team some feed back on their forum!

Doors in game!

MonoRAIL has already set static doors up in game :)! While the doors need some extra dressing to bring them up to the height of the walls the visual impact of having doors is dramatic. Great job MonoRAIL!!! We wait eagerly for the next update...

Doors completed and ready for import!

MonoRAIL has been hard at work and has just finished the first set of Space Hulk doors. While the code is yet to be completed to make them open and close. The model is looking great and will make some great dressing for current missions and to complete the Hulky feel we love. more to follow ...

Great News - Genestealers making their Debut in game!

If you are like me you are filled with uncontrollable excitement of the prospect of facing Genestealer in a hulk. Well that day has just grown a bit closer.

The Spacehulk mod demo is out.

This mod is based on the very popular Spacehulk TT game, and to some extent also the computer game, which is also called Spacehulk. You control a squad of 5 Space Marines of the chapter's first company. Your enemies are Genestealers, genetically engineered creatures, living only to defend their patriarch.

Features:

Terminators:
Most of the terminators are equipped with stormbolters. These weapons can easily kill Genestealers, but unfortunately they are prone to Jamming. If this happens the terminator cannot shoot its weapon for a short while....
One Marine in your squad is equipped with a heavy flamer. You can use the heavy flamer to temporarily incinerate an area. This area becomes deadly for all living creatures, Genestealer or Marine alike.
All terminators are equipped with a Powerfist, which is a deadly close combat weapon. Unfortunately the Genestealers are genetically enhanced killing beast, so if they get close enough, the Marine won't have a chance. The sergeant, who is a veteran of thousand battles is a bit better, but even he is very vulnerable in close combat.

This demo has only one mission. You will be briefed right after the mission is loaded. Try to achive the objective as fast as possible, otherwise you will be overwhelmed....

The Genestealers are still placeholders (orks).
There are no doors at the moment, but we are already working on it. The next version will have working doors i hope.
